What's JCSS Accredited Laboratories Group ?

The measurement standard supply system (the traceability system based on the Measurement Law) has come into the world as voluntary system based on the Measurement Law and 77 laboratories have already been accredited. However the traceability system based on the Measurement Law is a still young system and it is varying so much.
Especially since importance of mutual recognition of the international measurement standard system has come to be acknowledged, a great deal of revision has been rapidly promoted to harmonize with those of overseas and such information need be conveyed to the JCSS accredited laboratories and on the contrary some demand has happened from the JCSS accredited laboratories. So far some meetings or societies of research relating to each quantity have played a role to transmit information, but after all such activities have fallen partial and prevented to convey the whole movement of the system. Then it has been decided to establish the JCSS accredited laboratories section in the Instrumentation Control Association Japan with the whole industries constituted as members, function its information center with high transparency and aim at the activities to elevate confidence of JCSS accredited laboratories by holding independent circular test among members, etc.
At present 32 JCSS accredited laboratories and 32 companies including laboratories preparing for accreditation application participate in the JCSS accredited laboratories section, and the length subcommittee, pressure subcommittee and the mass subcommittee are inaction.
